Suing DCFS is very difficult. The agency and its employees have significant legal protections when acting within their duties.
You do have the right to raise concerns with the DCFS investigator and with that investigator's supervisor, and to ask for the concerns to be documented.
If you suspect a child is being abused, you can also contact local police directly and request a well-being check.
