Contact your DCFS representative immediately. The sooner they know, the more options exist for a stable next placement.
If the case is in court, also contact the guardian ad litem — the child's attorney — right away, and possibly the CASA advocate or the prosecutor, so everyone knows the placement is not working.
Document the specific concerns. A clear written record helps the next caregiver and protects you.
